Gauging the Google Nexus S

Google has long been a leader in the technology field. This advertising company has used their ability to make the very best computer-based technology to become one of the biggest companies in the world. From search engines to hundreds of efficient applications, the Google brand has made it so virtually everything their name touches turns to gold.

Now Google has even been putting its stamp on the smart phone market. Their Android operating system has been giving Blackberry and the Apple a run for their money. They have sold the system to a list of different companies who are using the technology to make some of the hottest phone on the market. But now, Google is bringing their own phone into the fold with the Google Nexus S.

This isn’t the first phone that Google has introduced, but it might be the best. The advantage to the Google phone is that it is sold independent to a carrier. So users of virtually any carrier can purchase the Nexus S and use it without a new contract.

What’s most exciting about the phone is that Google has taken their time to upgrade the technology. They have improved, first and foremost, the onscreen keyboard. In the past the Android operating system has taken hits for not having the best touch screen in the business. The Nexus has worked hard to make the typing faster and more accurate.

Android also attempted to clear up issues that users were having with the battery life. The problem with many current Android models is that the battery hasn’t been enough to get them through the day. Now there is up to six straight hours of talk time and 17 days of standby time. This should come as a welcome feature of the new model.

The Nexus S is the boldest and best advancement in Google’s phone endeavors and users are starting to take notice. Their reputation and quality continue to impress.
